Throwin' in the Towel!

I've given up on the laundry. Yep, I'm done. Don't worry, not entirely. We still have clean undies, but now, they rarely make it to the drawer. Em does still have clean clothes, but instead of me folding them and putting them away, she opens her drawer and shoves them in. We're living out of our laundry baskets a lot more these days, and I'm lovin' it! Instead of spending time doing laundry and ironing (ok, ok, I was never an ironer) I get to spend the days

making cookies
watching "shows"
and kissing perfectly chubby cheeks!

Claire
Silly Jilly
She had the giraffe and two books with her when I tucked her in and was definitely wearing PJs and not a leotard.

Traveling Circus

We get more than a few stares, but we are loving our new stroller! It's so nice to be able to go for a walk without Em strapped to my back. Now, we just need it to warm up a bit so we don't have to spend thirty minutes putting hats and gloves on everyone :)
Claire, looking less than enthused.
Poor Jillian, stuck in the boy snowsuit...again.
Emma all set for her first preschool class at the park district. With two backpacks and her electronic reader, she was more than prepared!
Em reading to the girls.

I know it's cliche' but time is really flying. I feel like in a blink of an eye, Emma is suddenly 3 and somehow our little ladies have already been here for 3 months. I'm not sure what we've been doing with our time, but I do know that the twins have been sleeping much longer stretches at night and that is a good thing for all of us. Now if we can just get Emma to stop creeping into our bed at night. There's always something, right?!

At the carousel.

Emma having a "pic-a-nic" with my cousin Darcy's little girl, Sam.

We're starting to see more smiles from the little ladies.
Can you tell who's who?

Emma and Owen's Birthday Party
Just and FYI, that cake was a lot harder to make than it looks!

Halloween

Emma as a Michigan State cheerleader, with our buddy Landon, at our first Halloween outing.
Carving pumpkins with Dad.
The whole fam dressed and ready to go to the Anderson's Halloween party. Emma chose Matt's costume. He looks less than thrilled here, but trust me, he loved every minute of it.
Ok, this one isn't so "Halloweeny" but aren't they too cute?!
